So you are looking to get your newly added ringtones, wallpapers, and mobile videos to your fans… well Myxer has you covered. Just grab a storefront widget and place it on your website, MySpace profile, or even Facebook page. From this widget your fans will be able to preview the ringtone, wallpaper, or mobile video then easily send it to their phone. Nothing like hitting up your fans where they connect with you the most, your own sites and social networking pages!

Confused on how to get this up and running?, check out the instructions below or email us at artist@myxer.com.

• First sign into your account at www.myxer.com.

• Now click on the “Share” tab at the top right of the page.

• Look towards the middle right of the page under “Artist Resources” and then click on the “Storefront Widget” link.

• Click on the “Help” tab for a quick overview about the Storefront widget.

• Next click on the “Content” tab to select what items you’d like to have display in your Storefront widget.

• Now click on the “Appearance” tab to choose what type of widget you’d like, you can also customize the skin, and you can edit the text color as well.

• The “Normal” Storefront option displays all of your content at the same time in one big widget with a scroll bar.

• The “Compact” Storefront option displays all of your content individually but you’ll be able browse through it all using the browsing arrows at the bottom of the widget.

• After you’ve customized your Storefront widget, highlight the correct embed code at the bottom of the page (Reg. Embed, MySpace Embed, or Facebook Embed).

• Now all you have to do is copy & paste it into your website, MySpace page, and/or Facebook page and you’re all set.

Go here: www.myxer.com/register/ and choose to create the account type that best fits your needs.

• Fill out the required information with the “*” next to the text boxes.

• Upload your profile photo.

• Then upload your content (either a song, photo, or video).

• Now you’ll need to fill out all of your content information and choose the section that you wish to mobilize.

• After that all you need to do is validate your email address and apply for MyxerIndie status.

• To apply for MyxerIndie status, go to the “Share” page and you’ll find a big grey box in the center when you’re signed in.

• After you confirm all of your information you’ll get a little overview about MyxerIndie status.

• Then we’ll go in and approve your account and you’ll have access to all of the tools that Myxer has to offer!

If you are looking to promote just one ringtone, wallpaper, or mobile video for a special promotion or single release, the MyxerTag is for you. This is Myxer’s single piece of content widget that can easily be placed on your website, MySpace profile, or Facebook page. These widgets are Myxer’s most popular viral marketing tool as artists and fans alike place them on their official and personal sites.
