I have a question… I signed up as a Partner so I could upload content from artists I work with. I applied for and received notice that I’m approved for an Indie account. However, I want to be able to assign a custom Mixercode to one of my artist profiles, but there is no option for this. What do I do?

Hey Shawn,
Sometimes if you create the sub-accounts before you get MyxerIndie approval you need the other accounts approved as well. Send a note to artist@myxer.com with your account info and have them approve your other accounts.

Keep using the internet to build up your fan-base, be sure to get their contact info using the Myxer Fanlist and check out other top sites like ReverbNation and ArtistData!

Hey Shaun,
You will need to apply for MyxerIndie status to charge for your ringtones. If you have a problem getting MyxerIndie status it is because you do not have a valid website or you do not own the copyrights to your tracks, please email artist@myxer.com for more info.

You need to have original content you created yourself of which you control the copyrights/publishing rights… then you need to apply to be a MyxerIndie artist after you have uploaded your content and provided your official URL (Website, MySpace, Blog…)
