Win $25,000 worth of prizes, promotion, and more

Check out PickTheBand.com

I am a firm believer that the internet offers some of the best opportunities to gain new fans by participating in online contests. I have seen a number of these pop up all over the internet, allowing the bands who put in the most work mobilizing their current fan-base and creating attractive online content to draw in new fans to directly benefit from their work. PickTheBand.com has taken that concept and ran with it helping bands get professional recording time with established engineers, get gigs with famous bands, and find new fans with radio and online promotions. They are currently running a contest in Boston, so if you are from the area it is not too late to sign up and compete to get your band featured in their live showcases at some of Boston’s best venues.
